Hello all, I am new here… The vBulletin forum of which I am a Super Mod at has (like many other VB forums) been attacked by spammers within the past couple of weeks… I have sorted through everything and banned all of them, except for one which just joined…
The guy who just joined, username James, has an e-mail of james420@123mail.org and an IP address of 128.241.43.144… Now the e-mail is on here, and the IP address is on here, but they do not match… The e-mail is for a Jeannette (with a different IP), and the IP address is for a Patricia (with a differnt e-mail)… However, he posted some useless links that look harmless to me, they just got no sense at all:
Since we are a small forum, I hate to ban people who do not deserve to be… Is this just a way of a spammer "mixing it up"? Should I own him?
